Sunshine and Shadows

How many times have I stood in my own way, never realizing I own the sunshine?   How many chances to do better have been allowed to shrink in the shadows, encouraging words left unsaid, for fear of rebuke?

Today I will grasp the opportunities that come my way, smile in the face of challenge, embrace the adversities!

Today is another day to learn, love, live.  Open up to the sunshine!

I found this on Pinterest this morning.  It speaks to me.  I have never been a person who is able to leave things behind.  I keep everything, old shoes, buttons, random magazine articles, memories that are better left behind...

I wouldn't begin to know how to leave things behind, but I'm willing to learn.  I want more sunlight.
